NOTICE TO BIDDERS
SEALED BIDS for the furnishing and delivering of BALLISTIC VESTS for The City of Washington Police Department, Washington, PA 15301, will be received at The City of Washington, City Hall, City Clerks Office, 55 West Maiden Street Washington, PA. 15301, on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 until 10:00 A.M (Late bids will not be accepted) On February 8, 2022 at 10:30 A.M bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in Council Chambers, 55 West Maiden Street Washington, PA. 15301.
Due to Covid-19, City Hall is currently closed to the public and may still be closed when bids are due. In the event that City Hall is still closed, bids can be placed in the drop off mail slot on the back porch of City Hall no later than 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2022. The bids will be publicly opened (City Hall back porch door will open at 10:25 A.M.) and read aloud at 10:30 A.M. that morning. Bids will be awarded at the next regular City of Washington Council meeting.
All bids must be submitted as ONE ORIGINAL + ONE COPY according to the specifications and upon a uniform proposal blank. Specifications and proposal blanks can be downloaded from the City’s website at www.washingtonpa.us. Hard copies are available at the Police Department 56 W Strawberry Way, Washington, PA 15301, Mon-Fri 9 A.M.- 4:00 P.M. City of Washington Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bid proposals. BID SECURITIES ARE NOT REQUIRED!
